Tell us what you like least about the SAA Creche? |
The security gate that is left open, no security visible at the crèche. Sometimes in the afternoon you find 2 or 3 children playing outside unsupervised, and the gate open.
Children being expected to sit down while waiting for the parents. Children like to play, why are they not allowed to play outside?

Do you have any recommendations for enhancing the SAA Creche Programme and facilities? |
1) The qualifications /experience of the teachers /care givers that are employed in the crèche be visible to the parents.
2) Please provide us with an email address so we can send proof of payment.
3) Please do fund raising during the year, and not expect the parents to ask for donations from people or state how much you need extra for whatever events the crèche will be hosting.
4) Afternoon care, pls have more than one person looking after children in the afternoon - let children play outside if the weather allows.
5) The crèche has an unpleasant odour, not sure what is causing it.
6) Please issue (on sale) diaries for children which informs the parents what the children ate, what they did /learnt and if there any incidents to report. These to be completed by teachers daily and parents to sign daily as well.
7) I personally cannot comment on the learning programme as I do not know what they have been learning.
8) I think the crèche owes parents detailed communication on the huge increase in school fees - I think 44% increase is quite high.
9) The crèche to have a website, so we can get all information online, including monthly newsletters.
